Hey all!
I got a little confusing question here, me and my friends over here have like an little debate currently.
In how many menu items on the main menu is too many. And what is normal.
Before i started optimize my website, i had about 400 menu items. Currently about 50.
And some says just 10 is too much. What you think is the lucky number?
I have to agree with JEM. It really depends how your site is organised, and really depends on how you categorise your content too. Personally, I've never seen a site with 400 visible menu items, or even 100, but if it works for you, then there's nobody who can really tell you otherwise.
I have around 100 total menu items for my site, with only about 30 visible.
It's mostly why im going down on my menu items since i thinking it slower down my website. I have actually tested it and it does really slow the website down with having too many menu items at the main menu. So im making several standalone submenus into sidebar instead.
