I was wondering if anyone know a simple extension that can list all the articles under section/category.
I want it to display in the simplest form
article 1...
article 2..
This way I don't have to copy each article title text and put a link on the text. \]

You can use section or category list layout.
You can then take this even further by customizing it with a layout override.
