Gantry framework and width

Hi,
I'm not sure if I'm missing something, but with the crystalline theme I'm using, and as far as I can tell, any Gantry-based theme, with the width being limited, I seem to have very little screen space to actually do anything.
For instance, if I use sidebar-a and have any side located modules, I have hardly any screen space for my page content!
Am I missing something? It's so tight I can't get hardly anything on my pages.

You can change the widths for the mainbody and module-positions via the sliders in the template-settings:

- My mainbody only has a single position, so cannot be adjusted via any sliders in the template settings.

If you have a module in sidebar-a click on "2" and adjust the width
If you don't have something published in the sidebars the mainbody (component area) should take the full width wich is about 910px.
But perhaps you have a link for me so I can check your problem?

I think that's the main problrm - 910 just isn't big enough.
I have repositioned the modules to come under the main body, but now you have to scroll right down to the bottom of the page to see things like who is online.. it would be better to have these at the side, but with the total width being 910 that makes my content just too squeezed, and it's all too small for things like my mindmap plugins in an iframe etc.
