    • i know you have hear this before.. but i am your typical newbie. I have NEVER worked with Joomla, nor have i installed a content management system. Suffice to say, i have never installed any type of templates.
I do create websites, understand css, html and database structures. Plus i have worked with content management systems, just have not installed one.
First, i need to thank the Rocket Theme team, cause I installed Joomla, then the Dominion template and its sample data by using your rocket launcher and installed with NO problems. Thank you!
Now, i have read, just about everything i can get my hands on: Joomla, Dominion template, most, if not all of your tutorials and i think i am ready.. Here;s my questions:
Where is the best place to start? I dont want to change the template - much :) just a little of the layouts and use whats there. I want to use the template, replacing the sample data with my content.
Any suggestions as to what steps i should start with?
      Thank you

    • I would start with removing what you're sure you will not keep (or at least unpublish it in order to be able to reactivate it if needed).

Then edit the sections and categories names to reflect your own content.

Then replace the articles with your own texts.

And do the same with the modules contents.

How does it seem to you ?
