    • This looks terrible:

It's been this way for weeks now. I assumed it would be fixed eventually, but it's still broken. And now I've immortalized it forever by taking a screenshot of it.

    • Using the same version and have no issues.

If the issues was widespread, or ongoing for weeks now, we'd have heard about it, I think.

Have you tried clearing your cookies and cache or viewing in another browser as a test?
    • Thanks,

What makes you say that? I've ignored it for weeks. Then I got bored this evening and decided to whine about it :p It's something to do while I wait for my support requests to be resolved. I can find more things to nit-pick about too. It's amazing the things I can do while waiting for support requests to be resolved.

Yep, same result in this copy of Firefox 3.6.13. No issues in Google Chrome 8.0. Looks OK (not great) in Opera 11.0. Looks atrocious in Konqueror 4.4.4 (but everything always looks atrocious in Konqueror).

    • Can you give me a list of add-ons that you have installed on Firefox? I might be able to find/reproduce the BUG that's causing it! It's worth a try. I don't mind giving it a go!

    • Here's the first thing I would try....
      ctrl + F5
to clear your browser cache.... it's worth a 5sec try!

That was the first thing I did. I just did it again.

Not one of these affects page rendering in any way:

      - Color Management 0.5.3
      - Exif Viewer 1.55
      - Fission 1.0.9
      - FlashGot 1.2.8.1
      - KDE Wallet password integration
      - Konquefox
      - Last tab close button
      - S3 Firefox Organizer

Something I just noticed. I was able to duplicate this issue. I noticed that it does this on my puter for a split-second while loading the page but then it continues to load and is fine. So, now I am thinking thinking it IS one of your add-ons.

Unfortunately, I am running 4.0b10 and half of those add-ons won't install on the beta I'm running.
So, why don't you do this:
Disable the first add-on and see if it fixes the rendering problem... if it doesn't, enable it again and repeat on the next add-on! Repeat this process on each add-on.
I think you will find that it was simply one of the add-ons or a conflict with two add-ons.

    • I tried it with a brand new instance of Firefox on a different account, and it still does it.

I figured out why, too. The words "the RocketTheme Community Forums" is breaking onto a second line, thereby pushing the search form down. If

      white-space: nowrap;

was added to that text, it would fix the problem.

    • heh,

easy to replicate. Probably you have enabled "only zoom text" in the Firefox display menu ...
... and zoomed the text. Simply disable that ...
