Good Blog Extension Recommendation?

Hi all,
I am desperately looking for a quality blog extension to remedy a few problems I have been unable to fix with my Joomla! native blog. Here is the current blog site:

I am looking for a blog extension component or other extension that will do the following:
• Allow for pagebreaks within posts
• Include sidebar modules to list blogs by author, category, date, and tags
I have not been able to find any module where it will list authors in the sidebar, then display all articles by the author upon clicking. This is basic out-of-the-box functionality in Wordpress, but seems to be next to impossible in Joomla!
