    • Are there any plans to build templates for the http://www.BigCommerce.com platform? 10k sites in two years and one of the fastest growing tech companies.

    • JEM thank you for your quick reply. I saw that you had magento templates and is why I asked about Big Commerce.

      I hope RT thinks about doing BC templates in the future, it's growing a lot faster than magento and imo, a better SaaS.

    • As far as I can see that is not open source and has no real language support for other markets.
      Not very likely that this will come... btw. I would like to see support for the oxid system wich is magentos biggest rival here in germany. But I see no chances for that too.

    • To build templates, it's fully open source, there are companies already do this and taking advantage of their fast growing popularity. Language is now the most requested features by the users and we were told it was on the way.

      Any word on this? BigCommerce is now the fastest growing eCommerce platform in the world, 15k stores in 2 years and ranks higher than Magento in most reviews.

      It's true you can't get access to their php, but all html and css files have access.

    • I hadn't heard of BigCommerce before, but from a quick look it seems like there's no scope for developing extensions, only theming, and therefore new features can only be added by the core development team. So I wouldn't think we'll be considering it.
    • STEP 1 IN MAGENTO DEVELOPMENT - DISABLE YOUR CACHE OR YOU WON'T SEE ANY CHANGES.
      Use the new "secure" tab when replying for privately sharing links.
