No products showing under parent categories

OK I do not get it.
I do not understand why when I choose a parent category, with several sub categories below it, nothing shows up on the page. No products at all show up. To me it seems that they should.
For example here are some categories that are on my site:
Women's Perfume (Main Category)
- Pretty Fragrance (sub Category)
- Clean Fragrance (sub Category)
- Sweet Fragrance (sub Category)
When you click on the Parent category I want it to list all of the subcategory products in that page but right now it shows nothing on the page. No products are listed on this page.
What I would like is for on the above page (which is a parent category of the Pretty Fragrance, Clean Fragrance, and Sweet Fragrance products), about 12 products total should show up on this page, all of which are in subcategories of the main category which is Women's Perfume. So on this page I would like to have the 12 products show up. But now zero do. Please help me...
Is there like a check box or setting somewhere that I am missing that will display all subcategory products on the above page?

Thanks for the login
I looked at your Virtuemart categories and the problem that you are seeing is because the module for product categories will only show products in that immediate category. Although you have products in the sub-categories they will not show when the category is selected as the module is designed to display products not categories.
Try adding a product from each of the subcategories to the main category and this will then display at least some products.

Is there any way to make that page not show, or some type of a work around, such as making them show up somehow, or making that main category Kiddie Scents not linkable? (So it will only expand that menu item to show the subcategories, not show a new page?)
Most people that use my site (testers) say that it does not make sense when you click on "Kiddie Products" then it takes them to blank page...

Your testers are right, a blank page is a click too many
This is why I suggested that you include a selection from the subcategories as part of that main category. It is simply a case of going to a product from each sub-section and making sure you include it in the parent category too.
This leaves you with a main category that displays a selection from the subcategories and when the client goes to the subcategory they still see all products.

Hi there,
Not that I am aware of. You could try checking the Virtuemart forums as the module is the one that comes with Virtuemart, it just has styling to match the template.
You could also look at some of the alternatives available here - extensions.joomla.org/extensions/extensi...irtuemart-extensions

I found a solution! The way to get items to show up is to do this:
In the Product information tab there is the Categories section, with the category that the item will show in highlighted in blue, if you want the item to show up in more than one category, in my case I needed it to show up in both the parent and the child category, you hold down the "CONTROL" key on the computer and you can select as many categories as you want. Done.
