    Colour Variations

    • Firstly - this is not a dig, or a complaint, simply a comment. I hereby acknowledge the great work that goes into these templates, and the great value...

However, I'm probably in a bit of a minority here, I am not a pro web designer, I simply maintain my site as part of running my own business. I love the templates, but I only really need a couple at any one time, one for my business site, and one for my blog which I run on joomla (i know it's not perfect but it's easier for me to use and maintain 1 platform for 2 sites rather than 2. I can remember what i'm doing with 1!)

So, also, I'm a girl so I do like girly things, and i work in a visual/design area so i like pretty things, and things that work. I used Versatility II on my site, and I've upgraded that to VIII recently, and I'm using colormatic on my blog site. They each come with an amazing range of styles, but I have to admit to finding them a bit samey. I've just been on the VIII demo and done a quick count, and four colours seem to dominate, Blue, Green, Orange and Grey. Now my corporate colour is a lime type of green, so that's not too bad, but I'm really not a fan of Grey or Orange. It would be great to see a few other colour combos around, I'm willing to suggest some if I know what it is you'd be looking for, eg just an image with colour swatches on etc?

I know I can change them using the osurce files, and I kinda know how now, but that's even the easy bit, it's editing the CSS to chnage the colours to match the images that takes just as long.

Thanks for all the great work though.
