I am not sure if this is the right place to post. If not, please move or let me know where I should post it.
Reviewing the past few months of templates, I see a few RT supported 3rd party extensions for an online catalog/cart solution. I am looking for a solution that is easy to setup and that will be able to grow with a new online store. I don't want to have to migrate to a different software package/platform if the store is successful yet I don't want to break the bank to get started.
I truly respect this communities insight and perspective. Please take a few moments and let me know what Joomla add on your suggest (and themes that work well with it):
redSHOP Webshop
Tienda Shopping Extension
Ecwid eCommerce Solution
VirtueMart
others....?
If you have worked with one of the above and had a bad experience, I would be interested in hearing that too.

I would definately reccomend virtuemart simply based on the fact that there are so many additional third party plugins/ solutions available for the product. Once you get your head around the positive and negative aspects of the componant I am sure you would agree.

- I agree with Brian, its a shame that RT dont do any other VM templates since mynxx but also realize that they opened a Magento Club, maybe those are related facts.

If you take the time to learn the VM Pitfalls and Pluses then you won't go wrong
I like trying new template styles available from extensions.joomla.org.
It would be great to have an RT/ VM or ecommerce theme come out, I've tried RokQuickCart before and thought it has good potential have you thought about extending the capabilities of rokquickcart perhaps with some slick UI and member services enhancements or a jomsocial/ rokquickcart plugin so you can "do more" with the products you have for sale...
