  • Native J.1.5+ Templates w/no Legacy????

    • Hi-

      Is it possible for any of the Rockettheme temps to work in Native Mode for Joomla 1.5+

      In other words I dont want to run the Legacy plugin option.

      Colormatic does not work at all if I dont select Legacy. Im doing some heavy duty MooTools work for a Ad Software and the URLS dont match up because of Legacy mode.

    • Do you know anyone that will convert a theme like Colormatic to j-1.5+

      I would pay and then donate it back to Rockettheme community.

    • The reason they aren't being done now is that anything could change in j1.5 making your template invalid over night.

      The final of 1.5 isn't expected (by many, but of course this isn't official) this year so it's a bit risky to put together a production site in 1.5 when there is still 6 or more months of instability left.

      Wouldn't it be safer to do the dev for 1.12 and then convert it to 1.5 later?

    • Were working on a major joomla project. And we have to design with J.1.5-

      Were actively helping with bug fixes, etc.

      So using 1.5 mods/plugins/tempates is key to our process.

      We dont care about broken stuff.
      I guess we need to study the template made for the beta.

      I was just hoping to find someone to help us. Were very into code and doing templates is off the course right now.

    • The plan is to convert the top 10 templates to 1.5 native. I'll be taking a poll very soon.

      We could possibly help financially if that will make things go a little quicker for certain templates??

      By the way with a 3rd column the ColorMatic is the best from a technical point of view. Its brilliantly designed. Not everyone likes the colors but the design is smashing :-)

    • My guestimate on the results

      1&2 V3 and Colormatic

      3&4 Bentobox and sporticus

      5&6 Vortex and Mobius

      no idea after that.
