    • Hi, i post here because on my server, the iphone version is encoded in iso-8859-1, so special chars are coded :/

      i work actually on a Hybrid template, i was searching where the error can be, but all the documents are encoded in ANSI.

      the error only appen in "iphone" mode, UTF-8 is well declared in the header :
      <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
      <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xml:lang="fr-fr" lang="fr-fr" >
           <head>
                  <base href="xxxx" />
        <meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" />
        <meta name="robots" content="index, follow" />
        <meta name="keywords" content="vitrerie" />
        <meta name="title" content="Vitrerie - Abatir 69 - Dépannage" />
        <meta name="description" content="Vitrerie" />

      i other template i found the file, but i haven't notice what file it was, so with my poor memory, i search one more time, someone know where is the probleme?

      thanks

    • ok i found the file, it's html/modules.php

      si this is a "module" file problem, i search what module is bugged now....

      (no probleme in html/modules.php, it's only functions, so i have to search, and search, and... search

      EDIT 1: after unactivated "Bottoms & footers" modules, no more encode probleme. So there is a problem after "mainbody", but the slider to switch from "IPhone to normal" is not the problem.

      all modules created after mainbody make the IPhone theme bugged

    • hum ok, i found(a solution maybe)
      on my server :
      disabling defaultcharset(setting it on "Off")
      disabling GZIP(else i got a nice "coding error" message)
      and all work

    • I can also confirm that with GZIP on (in global config) and any modules in the footer position, the iPhone version doesn't display and instead gives Content Encoding Error.

      Please look into this as it is a big issue.

      Many thanks.
