I'm sure this has been asked before but I'm having difficulty. Having installed the VersatilityIII template successfully my main question is
"How do I know what style folder ../images/style1 [thru style20] is being used? Once I know that I can then change the correct folder's logo.
My Secondary Question is...
For someone, like myself, completely new to joomla AND themes... Is there a basic how to setup guide? I've read various posts directing me to the template demo contained instructions and various instructions on aspects of the templates. The problem is that the instructions assume you already have certain prior knowledge... example: the demo instructions on VersatilityIII demonstrate how to change the logo text but there are no steps explaining how to find out which StyleFolder is being used (1 thru 20) nor how to change the style being used.
What I am looking for is a single source that explains from a newbie point of view - - step one do this, step two do this etc. until there is a working site. I am currently creating documentation for myself that I can share in the future but it would be nice if something already existed.

Can you tell me how to change to a different style folder for the template?
Also, I checked out that forum and there isn't really a basic guide listed there.

Hello hmark,
You can set the default style for the template in the index.php:
$default_style = "style14"; // style1 | style2 | style3 | ..... | style20
THere is more customization and tutorials on the demo site:
