Content Item Question

Hi ,
Is there an easy way to stop a content item showing up in latest news and newsfalshes?
For example, if u have a list of FAQS and u post a new FAQ it isn't really hot news and I don't want it showing there .

- in the latest news module you can specify which cateogries or sections to show from so if you didn't want FAQ's in just don't put in the section or category ID

Thanks ... still confused.
In latest news module under parameters I enter a category name in the category ID box , or section name in the section ID box and latest news then shows nothing (although I have content in).
Is category ID different than category name? Or any advice?

- yes. you have to put the category or section number. these can be found by going into your category or section manager
