With Joomla 1.6 and Tachyon template, I have been unable to embed video in a custom HTML article. It gives me a outlined square with the flash or iframe symbol but when I save it, it just deletes the code. How do I load a video into a text main body doc using custom HTML article???
When I am working with modules, I can use the flash or iframe feature to successfully load a video into the module.
Do I need a separate plug-in?

Were you able to solve this issue? I am having a similar issue except I'm not even getting a box around the embedded video. After I hit Save, Joomla strips the code right out of the article.
Using Joomla 1.6
Tachyon template

Does anyone have any suggestions? Is this an issue with this template? With gantry? With Joomla 1.6? ??? - Best wishes,
