    Meta tags placement

    • Hi all,
      Time and time again I come across the advice that for SEO purposes the title meta tag should ALWAYS be the first tag for the crawlers to encounter.

      Having checked my Joomla sites I see the following

      <base href=" www.domain.com/ " />
      <meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" />
      <meta name="robots" content="index, follow" />
      <meta name="keywords" content="keywords........" />
      <meta name="description" content="Description text........." />

      <title>My optimised title</title>

      Does anyone know how to make the title tag appear before the other tags?
