Site went white and disappeared

- You shouldn't unless you have hacked the Joomla! core files. All the configurations are stored in the database. Remember to change your configuration.php to match your site

WOW - I re-upped all the joomla 1.0 files into my test folder on my server and over wrote all of the files and nothing I still get a blank white screen when I go to
www.obeyjesus.net/test/
- now when I go to my joomla admin page I can login but I am struck on the home page I can't go any where from there.

I don't understand - how do I get a new database and directory - do I delete the mysql database and make a new one?

- Do exactly what you did when installing your site but instead of to the /test directory, do it to another

I did this and I'm back up - but I lost everything so I'm starting again from scratch - if I try to upload my backed up files I just go white again. Is there any way to stop this from happening again.

have you made sure everything you did with the JSMF bridge was undone? that is usually what causes this problem. - Billy Zoellers
