Kinetic Joomla theme.. article font color needs to change..

  • Kinetic Joomla theme.. article font color needs to change..

    Posted 14 years 4 days ago
    • For a while I've thought it's a bit light and might be hard for some to read.. and it was confirmed when someone commented on an article and said, "great content, but it was hard to read.."

      However, I tried figuring out where on earth that's controlled... tried changing a range of css files. I'm using style 1 but that doesn't seem to do anything. template.css.. and all the rest.

      Where is that controlled? Would just like to change the text color.. I see where the font and size is controlled in the admin; but no color. :cry:

      Thanks! :cheesy:

      P.S. As far as I know all my cache's are off.. the global and the plugins are off. Is there another I'm missing?

    • is there a setting for font in the template parameters that you can adjust?

      this should be in the Kinetic forum.

      Cheers

    • Where's the Kinetic forum? :oops:

      Solved. I really did think I knew what I was doing the other day.. and, in fact, did it turns out.

      first, to answer your questions, the parameters in the template parameters page that can be adjusted are size and font. No color for body text.. but.. what I couldn't get to apply or work for an hour or so the other day took me about 2 minutes to find and work today after another go.. (cache was on when i thought it was off the other day? or.. brain issue.. don't know, lol..). :cheesy:

      But! For future reference in your style's css:

      /* Core Text */
      body, .title, #rt-bottom, #rt-footer, #rt-header {color: #000;}
      .title span, h1 {color: #333;}

      That be where it's controlled.. ;)

      Thanks anyway,

      -Matt
