GODADDY HOSTING SUCKS...Anyone else hate them? Need a better VPS

Someone suggested this one to me the other day. I have no experience with them, but the person who told me about them said good uptime - good support - no problems. Price looks right, special on VPS right now.

As was discussed on another forum, in their terms and conditions Go Daddy reserves the right to shut down your site, and freeze your domain name if someone even suggests you spam.
Which means all it takes is a few people to put a mail from you in their junkmail folder, and you could find yourself locked out of your sites and your account frozen and them not even willing to let you transfer your domains. (or even actually inform you that they have frozen your account)
Scary stuff.
On the extensions sites are a few different tools which will wrap a Joomla site database and all into a zip file and then let you unzip and install it on another site. (make sure you navigate to install.php or whatever the file is that the tool makes when you unzip it)
Most of them are commercial but there is a free one, which I have used a couple of times to good effect.
I use Dreamhost myself currently, because their setup is very good for hosting multiple sites on the one account. But their shared servers can get pretty laggy at times. They also have a custom web panel that absolutely blows fantastico out of the water. I prefer manual installs to fantastico, and DH to manual installs. I also have no complaints about the service whatsoever.
It's the hardest thing for me when I use other servers, getting used to Fantastico and the control panel.
Their dedicated servers are a tad expensive though, but I hear the performance on them is great. I will probably be going to a DH dedicated or possibly Rochen when I upgrade my hosting.

Hi
For me the important things are
a- Connection to internet from my servers
b- The price of that connection
c- The OS of the Server(mostly Centos these years) and root access.
d- The price to hire a server with same or similar configuration.
e- Overall performance of company on managing its data center.
a- All companies have this feature and GoDaddy has it for me too
with a competitive bandwidth.
b- The cheapest of that connection belongs to GoDaddy
c- All companies have these Os, and operating systems do not decide to
work/perform better or not according to different companies. Like at every company,
Centos works the same at GoDaddy servers.
d- GoDaddy prices are unbeatable. (Yes there are some small ones offer 4-5 dollars less than
GoDaddy but look at bullet "e")
e- I am more than 5 years with GoDaddy Hosting, i see no fails on their data center management.
(perhaps totally 2-3 hours totally for system wide upgrades during this 5 yrs.)
From forums and even at their own forums, i learned that 4-5$ cheaper companies fail very very more than GoDaddy. Good supported most companies fail more than several hours a day sometimes.
I think GoDaddy is the best place for hosting websites. This is also why they are giant
in this sector.
I mostly use GoDaddy unmanaged servers.
I make my updates at my own, i care my servers. To make costs less i never use managed servers.
