    • Hi,

I'm having a time display problem with my joomla 1.6 website using Nebulae.

I looked a couple of time in the forum to try to adjust the date and hour that display on the frontend. I found out the there is a 4 hours delay between the time in the north america eastern time zone and what is displayed on the frontend.

The timezone in the joomla configuration is the right one, so that's not the problem.

When I select the Client-Side date, the time in right, but it's no good since my website is in French (and the Client-Side date is in English).

How do I a offset the time so it displays ok?

All the changes I made are in the Template-options.xml (to display the date in french and add the time of day). Do I need to adjust the timezone somewhere else?

Here is the link for my website : andrechapleau.com/

      Thanks,

      André

    • Am I at the right place to discuss this issue? Since it's not template related, or extension related, I thought the General discussion forum was the place the bring out this problem.

Maybe it's because it's not Rocket Theme related? I guess it's more like a Joomla! issue... I tried to find an answer on joomla forums, but I did'nt find anything. It looks like somewhere there is an overide of the timezone specification of the joomla configuration, but I can't find it.

Is it a problem specific to 1.6?

      Someone have an idea?

      Thanks in advance

    • Hi Joe,

Sorry for my late response, but I just got your answer an hour ago. I guess I did'nt really hope to get one...

I looked at the reference you posted, but I don't know in which php file I need to make the offset. Sorry, I'm not very good at this.

I just updated my site to j1.7, but the time is still 4 hours later then the eastern timezone (america) it's suppose the indicate.

      Thanks,

      André
