Firefox settings and some rocketthemes

    • When Firefox 4 was released I started getting some complaints from users on few of my websites which use Rocket Themes. The complaint is that the central content are of the website doesn't display at all. The user only sees the header, main horizontal navigation (if there is one) and the footer.

After pulling my hair out for some time, reading nearly every post and thread in this forum, I discovered that if a user does not have advanced font parameters in Firefox set to "allow web pages to choose their own fonts instead of my selections above" then certain templates do not display. When users updated to Firefox 4, this advanced font setting is set by default to off. Upon enabling (checking) the box "allow web pages to choose..." the sites then display correctly.

I modify Rocket Themes, so perhaps I have screwed up some of my templates! But, I am wondering if anyone here has encountered this issue on any other templates, and if so, is there something I can do to remedy the template so that it works with fonts chosen by the browser?

I think this could be an issue where a user with low vision wants to set their browser to a large size of Arial and force all web pages to display it. I should make sure this works with all my sites, and I've got three that are not working. One uses Solar Sentinel, one uses Mynxx and one uses Meridian. All older templates. Obiviously my error, I think.

Thanks an advance for your thoughts.
