Linkable RSS button.

I have no idea where to post this question or suggestion.
As we all know, the standard rss in joomla only create feeds from content in the newsflash. So i installed RD_RSS component wich make it possible to generate newsfeeds from each desired category. But...
U can only link this component to a menu item wich as far as i concern is not intresting. So i wondered if i could be possible to fit a linkable rss logo ('s) or button(s) within the template (header or footer or..). So u could link it to the RD_RSS component link? I hope u all understand what i am trying to explain (english is not my main language). So it would be nice if rocket theme made it possibla or is it already?

could you not create a menu, that isn't seen on the site, with all the categories you want .... or publish them to a module position that isn't used
publish it temporarily to a module position and get the URL's ... then you can publish RSS feeds to those specific URL's and place them in any module position .... - www.c3p0.se - sweden

thx but that is not exactly what i had in mind. Would be nice with an rss logo or button (s) in header of footer integrated. Tried several things to put in in a module without succes. Thats why they call me a noob i suppose

- i dont understand what you mean by header or footer ... you could put custom code into a module position that is close to the bottom and only show on specific pages

Well, if i put a RD_RSS link into a custom module it shows the content of the feed or the link. i only want to know how i can show a linkable rss logo in a module. when u click on the logo u go to the xml page (feed of my site). I know it is probably a stupid question. In dreamweaver i fix it in just 2 seconds lol. Joomla ............... :'(. Once i figured that out, it will be easy to put it near footer or header as u mentioned.

ok. what you have to do is get the URL to the xml page (whatever way you want to do that) then with that you cna create a clickable image to the page, i.e.:
<a href="http://www.urltoxmlfeed.com"><img src="http://www.urltoimage.com/image.gif"/></a>

Thx , but i know how yo make an image linkable, the only thing is dont know is (probably the stupist part)how to put it on my site.
Do i have to make a newe module or menu item? do i have to add it as static content? Use the WUSIWUG or not? For me a new module with the linkable button in it will do fine because i can change position then.

I figured it out. Create new module > content (Link url - not using the WUSIWUG) > add the rss link > done!
