  • I can not install new modules or plugins in my joomla site

    • Hey!

      I have tried for more than a week to install new modules and plugins in my joomla website, but i get this message: JFolder::create: Infinite loop detected Warning! Failed to move file

      When i used wamp server, i could install new moduls and plugins without problems, but since i moved the site to a new server i can not install anything at all.

      I have done all that i can, but i fail all the time. Please help me. It´s so frustrating.

      how did you move the site from wamp to the live server?
      do you have other joomla installs on that same server where it is working fine?

      I moved the site from wamp to the live server with File Zilla, i dont know if it caused the problem.

      did you also remember to update your configuration.php file?
      best way to move a site is to use akeeba backup to backup and restore. :)
