    • Greetings All,
I have poseted this same issue in the juxta forum, but realized the problem is pervasive throughout a few templates im using and plan to use very soon, EG omnicron, juxta, syndicate, and maybe more just know that those three are affected.

The Issue: the homepage on these template seems to have a breakdown in css/javascript but is fine on any otherpage.
Is there a fix to this, or should i just use a different link option as a homepage?

Please help I am hitting a few deadlines and have combed the forums and have not found an answer.
I thank you in advance and aplogize if this is a mundane, ignorant question.
      Best Wishes,

      A few questions...

      1. Do you have a URL we can look at?
      2. What version of IE are you using? The newer the better
      3. Have you tried viewing the same page with Chrome or Firefox?

If it is across a number of designs, that doesn't point to the design / template, that points to the browser having an issue which does suggest you have an older version of Internet Explorer

    • Greetings, to answer the questions,
      Here are some links:
      www.yourcustomdemos.com/juxta
      www.yourcustomdemos.com/omnicron
      www.yourcustomdemos.com/syndicate

and as for the version of IE I think its 8 or 7 but im going to upgrade it tonight, but more concerded that the demographic this business is seeking is an older one and has less of a grasp on browsing the web and the different browswers - other then what comes standard with their computers; that being IE.
Other browsers : yes ive tried these sites on chrome, safari, firefox and IE, have yet to try it on opera. and with the exception of the homepage rendering problem on IE they all run fine.

      Hope that helps to clarify
Thanks for your help in advance.

    • Interesting. I don't see any difference in the rendering of the Juxta design between IE8 & Firefox 5 except for what you'd expect. The page is the same on both.

Looking at the Syndicate, same thing. The rendering is the same for IE8 & Firefox 5

BUT, when I went to Omnicron, the tail end of the website is all stuffed up.

Is there a plugin or component that isn't installed on Juxta & Syndicate that is on Omnicron?

    • Greetings,
Off the bat no i can't think of one, i use a lot of the same plugins throughout the sites, eg breeziing forms and a few standard components but Thats interesting that syndicate didn't show any loading/rendering issues,
With the juxta, i just changed the home link back to its original name - Home - and made it the default, thats the only page im having monster issues with. Im installing a new version of IE - ID9 - now to see if thats the issue but if it is i still am interested/curious on how to make it possible for older versions of IE to view the site at least not all jumbled up - the lack of styling i can deal with but it needs some order.

Interesting. Whatever you changed then, I now have a rendering issue on the home page of Juxta.

Here is an image and is this what you have been seeing all this time?

    • Hi,

I think I've solved it. :D Disable this plugin OjAccess. Something doesn't like it.

Once disabled, let me know and I'll see if it renders correctly.

      Don't change anything else.

      Hi,

Can you PM me the login details to the following and I'll see if I can iron out the problems.

      www.yourcustomdemos.com/juxta
This one stops loading and I think there is something going on with a plugin + I'll also check the content of your articles

      www.yourcustomdemos.com/omnicron
This looks to an incomptability issue but want to look at the code + plugins.

Create a seperate administrator login so you can delete it afterwards.
