Color Problems-- try this

Hi everyone,
I really like the templates and the helpful community. I recently had a problem when trying to alter the png colors of a template. I have seen some other people mention that colors were not coming up correctly. For me everything looked great in firefox but ie and safari were messed up. All pngs were getting changed slightly in shade.
SOLUTION to this problem is:
Change the pngs to gifs and then alter the css or html files that call them accordingly.

This sounds like the infamous Gamma issue with Photoshop PNGs.
