  • Rocket Launcher installation problem

    • My installation for Modulus template using Rocket Launcher proceeds well until the point where I remove the installation folder. After that, clicking 'Go to site' brings up a white blank page! I can log into the administrator but the front end doesn't load. I have deleted and performed a fresh installation but still the same thing.
      [PS- Have looked around the forum but can't see a solution. maybe someone can point it out to me. Thanks]

    • Make sure your server meets all the requirements.

      A 'white screen of death' usually indicates a php.ini memory limit that is to low, but it could also be an outdated php version, or a server without cURL enabled.

    • I am running the latest version of Wampserver with cURl enabled. My php memory limit is the default 128M. RocketLauncher is for Joomla 1.5.

    • I was able to install the RocketLauncher package on a different machine using WAMP, without having to adjust the php memory limit. It worked!

      PS: I tried XAMPP on a different machine. The installation proceeds well until the point when I click 'install sample data'. it brings an error: 'The XML response that was returned from the server is invalid'.

    • I had the same problem, probably you have a component (in my case RokTwittie) that is not configured. Try to configure it or remove it. :cheesy:
