perhaps you can try this code instead
#rt-header a#rt-logo {position: absolute;top: 10px;z-index: 9999;}
#rt-header div.rt-block.logo-block {width: 300px;height: 20px;}
and turn off the autosize feature of the logo (just in case you have that enabled).
Not sure if that can cause an issue here.

I found if I change
#rt-logo {width: 185px;height: 115px;display: block;}

#rt-logo {width: 185px;height: 88px;display: block;}
I get the following result ..
But Im still not happy with the spacing
