Your unprofessional response is not welcome. We are respectfully requesting improved communication with RT. It is reasonable for businesses to communicate their needs one to another and it is inappropriate to label our requests with them as being negative, nor to suggest that we look elsewhere. We're engaged in businesslike, professional communication with RT.

I think RT has been great at getting templates out in a very timely maner. I belong to five other template clubs and none of them are even close to the first of the month, most are around mid month and have no rime or reason for their release dates other than, when they are ready, they are ready.
I have received the best support from Rt and it's forum users. I still have support questions on other template clubs concerning their templates that have gone unanswered for over a year now! So I personally can wait a day or two, to see the new template. I also get very excited to see whats new....but come on....it's a template for God's sake. Not mention all the work being done on converting existing templates to the 1.7 and al the other code updates.

I have merely responded to your remarks AND in a remarkably ladylike fashion if I do say so myself. This is especially true considering I was highly insulted by your condescension and lack of manners towards me in your prior posts.
I don't usually like being treated as if I have no value in a member supported forum. I too own a business and, "Believe it or not!," I totally comprehend (whether" you" acknowledge it or not) patterns, schedules and time constraints. I am simply wise enough not to oversell myself or misrepresent my time constraints. Those are "my" warranties to a client and RT has no obligation to meet "their" needs, only ours.
If it were not "release day" and I were not in my "happy place" I would not have been so congenial nor polite towards you, SIR!

Ok, here's the official response:
We do not provide hard release dates because there are too many variables when creating something new each month. We here at RocketTheme have always strived hard to launch on the 1st of each new month, but earlier if possible. This is not a guaranteed deadline, it's just a goal we set ourselves. What this usually means is that towards the end of the month a significant portion of the team works through weekends and even holidays, 14-18 hours a day to ensure we release a high quality product on our self imposed deadline. If we feel we are unable to make that deadline, we post a thread on the forums and tweet that we will be delayed and usually provide a new proposed date (usually a day later).
Last month we released Reflex template in conjunction with RokGallery, this was a huge development effort. In order to release both in a high quality 'RocketTheme' state, we pushed back release by nearly a week. We communicated this to our members. Aside from that I think we've missed our self-imposed deadline once or maybe twice in 5 years of releases. I think we've done pretty darn well.

Jeremy Kosick: "Hello, Is the US postal Service?"
USPS: Yes it is, how may I help you.
Jeremy Kosick: "Where is my mail?"
USPS: "Did your carrier not come today?"
Jeremy Kosick: "No he hasn't and I am getting worried"
USPS: "Worried? "It's still early sir, I'm sure he will be there."
Jeremy Kosick: "How would I know that? It's not posted anywhere. What kind of business is this?"
USPS: "Well Sir, I'm sorry you are upset. What time does the postal worker usually get there?"
Jeremy Kosick: "Between 1-2pm"
USPS: "Well by my clock it is only 11am, and depending on his load and other obstacles, it could be as late as 5pm"
Jeremy Kosick: "All I am saying is that you should post that on your website. I am a professional, and expect the same from the United States Post Office"
USPS: "We strive to get the mail to our customers as soon as possible. But as you know things can come up. However, you are calling to complain 2 hours before your mail is even expected."
Jeremy Kosick: "Look, can I speak to someone in charge, I am the boss of a website and want to speak with your boss.
USPS: "Just a moment sir. Please hold"
Jeremy Kosick: Boopy De Doopty Doo…..
USPS: "This is the supervisor, how may I help you?"
Jeremy Kosick: "Wait the mailman just came, never mind."

Hi Andy... thanks for the response. I am not asking for hard release dates. I am asking for improved communication. That is, if you know on a certain date that you'll be late (or early or on-time) in delivering a template, then I'm asking that you share that information with your subscribers. It's as simple as that... when you know something, share it in a place where we can know to look.

Hi Henning... thanks for the link. I checked it and didn't see any info saying whether the August template would be early, late, or on-time. Is this something that you provide on the Twitter feed?
Again, it's not about having a "deadline." It's about sharing information when you know it in a place that isn't too hard to find.

I personally believe that anyone who spends so much time complaining and looking for official responses must not actually want the template to release. I think this could be a competing company trying to slow down the awesomeness of Rockettheme. I prefer all official Rockettheme employees to be working on templates not answering questions that have been answered 100 times before. I think rather than release on the first as a goal you should release randomly. Each morning people wake up and press the F5 hoping for a gift. I guess then people will understand that when you say...
"We do not provide hard release dates because there are too many variables when creating something new each month. Or "Our commitment is to release a template each month and we do not have a specified release date".
