Hello ,
I am developing / remaking a website for our company and i decided to give a try at Joomla before going down the Redesigning and coding.
Turns out our website is not a blog, its a online multiplayer game with tons of custom features, but the main layout is just like any other website.
Let me go right to the point here:
How can i make a usual webisite with Joomla, i mean, i havent quite undestood the Article thing, i am not making a Blog, so there will be no articles on our page.
Our main website structure is:
Home
- New account ( Custom fields and Custom system MSSQL )
- Custom user ranking ( Top players )
- Game download ( A custom HTML page )
- Login box
Well, i would like if you could give me some pointers on how to do that with Joomla,
For instance: The best way to create a subpage on the website with custom HTML on joomla is ....
I Hope you can understand what i meant with this post.

You'll probably need to construct it using modules rather than articles. If this is something new to you, you are going to have a very steep learning curve to do anything beyond the basics.
