Confused about the Wordpress Club

    • I have Reaction 1.4 but when I updated Wordpress to 3.2.1 it broke my site. Where is the support forum for this update? And how do I access it? Do I have to pay $60 again just to get help and an update to Reaction 1.5? Do I have to pay $60 over and over again to "rejoin" the Wordpress Club just to keep Reaction updated every time Wordpress updates?

      Curiously,
      Paul

    • Hi,

You can grab the latest gantry plugin from www.gantry-framework.org , however you wont be able to grab the other rockettheme plugins used as they are for current club members only.

For theme support and update downloads, you will need to resubscribe.

    • Thank you for your reply. That is somewhat discouraging to hear because that means I will never be finished paying for a theme. That makes me not want to do a theme at all or not update at all, neither of which are very acceptable solutions. Is not there a way to pay a one time fee (I don't care what the cost is) and have unlimited lifetime support and unlimited updates for the theme I like/choose/selected/and went through all the trouble of setting up on my site? I don't want to pay $60 every few months just to keep an old theme running. That would get ridiculously expensive for something that is supposedly to be a simple, no hassle good-looking Wordpress theme.

    • Hi,

Sorry no there isn't, a theme takes a great deal of resources to build, and the subscription fee that you pay goes towards to development and support costs of the themes.

You could hire someone to support you, but anyone decent will cost around $75-100 usd an hour.
