    RocketTheme Forum layout

Posted 17 years 10 months ago
    • Hello,
I'm currently looking into forums to use for my Joomla! website...

So far I've found FireBoard, which is very useful for it's bridging capabilities.
I was wondering; what forum does RocketTheme use? I prefer the posts and topics count on this forum to the FireBoard one. I would also like to know how they wrapped this forum in so well? FireBoard wraps, but still reveals the side modules, which is really ugly imo :)
If someone could answer these questions it would be much appreciated :)

Also, is there a component used for the RocketTheme user profile setup? The avatar box and other information (at the top) are pretty cool...

      Thanks :)
      Aiden

    • Ah! Thanks mate :)

Does the SMF bridge come with the option to hide the side modules?
Or do I require some coding for that?

      Thanks again!

    • The bridge inserts the SMF forum into the mainbody area as with any components. You can choose to unpublish the modules surrounding this if you wish.

    • I see..
Could you please provide a quick guide on how to un-publish modules in specific pages?

I only know how to un-publish them for the whole site..

      Thanks :)

    • At this point, I would read the Joomla! manual at help.joomla.org which is highly inciteful :)
