css is returned to default(after a while),after I changed it

Posted 13 years 9 months ago
    • hello,
      I'm using joomla panacea theme
I changed the style of this file
      mytheme/css/css-1ad18f25295d9548eb9be7a462135928.php
but after minutes, it returned to the default one, so I should upload my changes again

in the backend, I changed "Use Static" to ON but the problem remained
      rtl is enabled

      so what's the problem ?
      thanks

    • Hi, you need to turn off the RokGZipper in your plug in manager. Those CSS files are generated by the compression and are temporary files. You shouldn't be editing those for this reason. With the GZipper off, you be able to see the actual files you need to edit. Hope that helps.

    • Empty your browser cache, clear your Joomla cache, turn static CSS off and all compression utilities off. Refresh the page until you see the real style sheets, you're still seeing the temp flies.

    • I deleted my last post before I saw your last post because, I didn't disable GZipper from the plugin manager :$
      SORRY,
so, thanks for your fast reply ^_^
      it's worked !
ok, what is better for the site when it go to live ?
should I enable GZipper, Use Static CSS and disable Check Changes to have better performance ?

    • Yes, enable all of that when you go live. As you've found, it's quite difficult to use those items when you're working on the site so it's best to turn them off while you're working.
