how to handle browsers with Javascript disabled?

    • I'm working on a new site using Joomla! with the Reflex template .... the new 1.7 Joomla! with Reflex 1.6.

I've replaced some of the content on the opening page - menu items - my RokGallery - and a list next to the gallery.

It looks pretty good .... as long as scripting is enabled but, when I tested it in Firefox with scripting disabled then nothing after the menu is visible.

Is there a switch I can set in Joomla! to send users without scripting to a more simple template? Or maybe give them a message?

      Here's the site (it's just a testsite .... this isn't close to live) www.nancypickard.com/npr/

The thing is, I love using javascript myself but, I believe it should degrade gracefully .... at the very least we should display a message to users. But, really something should be available on the site for people without scripting.

Note: Most of this note was originally posted in the Reflex thread before I realized that it's really a general issue. I tested the demos of several templates and they came up blank as well.
