    Hiding Mr. Sidebar.... selectively

Posted 13 years 8 months ago
    • Couldnt find the answer on the forum

Is there a way to hide the sidebar position on some pages only?
I'm sure ive done it before on another site with an rt template.....

      Eg
I have a page with a wrapper.... i want it to fill the full width
i have no modules in the sidebar on that page

So the position i dont want to work

But on other pages i have modules showing in the sidebar so those should be left alone

      How do i achieve this?

      Thanks in advance

    • Well in the module manager you can assign modules to certain menu items.
If you have no modules published into a sidebar for a certain menu item the sidebar will not show up.
If you still have modules showing in the sidebar you may want to disable the menu-less pages feature.

I'm a bit confused about your question to be honest ...

    • Thanks henning
My issue is i have no modules published to the sidebar on some of my pages....but still the sidebar area is showing, just empty...meaning my content is not spread across the page.
