Ok so I am wondering if anyone has a quick and free solution to the numbers in the urls in Joomla 1.5? I have 500+ articles all with numbers in the url and I know it is hurting my search engine optimization. Does anyone have a solution to remove the numbers and make sure that all my old urls are redirected to the new ones?
A free solution would be great.
PS - How much do these numbers hurt my SEO?

I haven't found any info weither it's bad or not but my guess is that it won't matter as the text has a higher priority.
