Installed 1.7 site and now my 1.5's won't work!

I installed a 1.7 instalation on the same database as a couple of my 1.5 sites and now neither of my 1.5 sites are working. All I get is the following message when I type in the domain name.
jtablesession::Store Failed
DB function failed with error number 1054
Unknown column 'gid' in 'field list' SQL=INSERT INTO `jos_session` ( `session_id`,`time`,`username`,`gid`,`guest`,`client_id` ) VALUES ( 'fnh415olt6gmqjtcvoejma7f96','1315846597','','0','1','0' )
Any ideas of how I can fix this?

- I'm not clear what you've done . . . you've installed a 1.7 installation on top of a 1.5 installation? Or you've installed a separate 1.7 installation with a separate database into the same directory as your original 1.5?
