I selected a couple of images to show in the rotator but am simply left with a big blank space. I need to either put images in there or know how to get rid of the big blank space, thanks.
theme is panacea for Joomla 1.5 (p.s - how do i upgrade to 1.7 without messing my site up?)

Hi, I took a look. One thing I noticed is that you're getting a 404 error for teeth-whitening-london-banner.jpg, file not found. Is that one of your rotator images? If so, it's either not on the server or it's somewhere it shouldn't be. That could be causing your problem so please verify it's in the right place.
Are you saying that you are unable to turn the rotator off in the backend? What happens when you try to turn it off? Let me know.
On upgrading, good luck. I personally would try it on a local testing environment or on a copy of the site, don't attempt it with your live site. It takes some work and time to upgrade everything and there are a number of issues you could encounter. Only do it if you need to or have a specific reason for doing so, there is nothing wrong with using 1.5. I don't think your issue is related to that.

Hi,
Thanks for replying.
That image does not exist and was deleted from the server, it is no longer in the selection of images to be shown in the rotator so should not be a problem. The rotator shows on most of the other pages on the site.
If i select to turn the rotator off on the back end, nothing changes even when i empty the cache.
As for 1.7 Joomla, i was only going to update because I thought it might help speed of the site loading and thus seo.

Hi, I took a look. The issue is you have a custom setting for your home page and there are no backgrounds assigned to it. Near the top of the template settings there is an orange box, click the menu items button and select your home page from the drop down list. That will pull up the settings for your home page. If you open the rotator backgrounds you'll see there are no images assigned to show, hence you see nothing on your home page. Let me know if that helps.
