    • I am having the following issue in Joomla 1.7:

      When I log in or out from inside an article (NOT linked to a menu item), I am lead to a 404 page...that page's URL, the one I am lead to, consists of the URL of the category (which is linked to the menu) + the ID of the relative article after a question mark,
      For example if I try to login from the page
      h**p://www.example.com/δοκιμές/80-λες-να-δουλέψει
      I will be redirected to 404 error page of the following URL
      h**p://www.example.com/δοκιμές?id=80

      I am NOT getting this error when I sign in/off from a category e.g.
      h**p://www.example.com/δοκιμές
      or from within an article, when that article is directly linked to a menu item, thus not bearing the article ID in the URL

      I am also getting this if I use the logout link which appears in the User Menu after a user logs in. If I logout from there, i.e. page
      h**p://www.example.com/αποσύνδεση
      I am lead to a 404 page with this URL
      h**p://www.example.com/πληροφορίες-χρήστη/profile

      - I have not customized the redirect url after logging in/out...
      - I have SEF and mod_rewrite enabled
      - the issue arises even with Mod_rewrite disabled
      - using greek characters in the URL

      any thoughts?

      Have you tried using one of the default templates to see if they are also affected?
