Article Editor button not working to link to articles.

Posted 13 years 8 months ago
    • I have a button under my Tinymce editor but it doesn't seem to work. I think this button is supposed to enable me to link to another article inside the current article I am editing.

When I click this "article" button it opens a popup window where I can filter the article manager to find articles. But I can't click an article link to link to it in my edited article.

Can you tell me what the problem might be?
Or is there a different extension/method that I need to be able to link to other articles while in the editor?

      Thanks for any advice!
    • NOTE to forum mods: Right-Click is disabled on my site but source code is visible. Unfortunately, I have some images on my site that are licensed and the agreement is that right-click be disabled. I use the F12 key for Firebug instead of right-click. Sorry for the inconvenience.

    • I'm using rokpad and I'm happy about it. I know my site's structure and links so I just insert the links manually. Smth like:

      <a href="http://www.mysite.com/category/article-that-i-want">Article Title</a>

So instead of clicking few buttons, I rather write it. IMHO - a lot faster.
Of course, major condition is to have friendly urls.
But no major complications, no undesired modules/components/plugins. Just rokpad and code. And I love it!

    • I figured this one out. It was a specific config setting in the server and previous was hosting company.
