Remove VARIOUS modules from Poll page and Profile page

Posted 13 years 7 months ago
    • Hello,

Got a problem I can't seem to solve. Let me explain.

I have built a site that is very complex, lots of modules (Crystalline template) There are many different modules at the top of the page. Like basically the whole 'above the fold' section is full of these modules. (it looks good, everyone says :D )

The problem is for a couple of pages, the poll results page and kunena forum member signup page these modules all stay on the page, so that when anyone tries to go to either of those pages it just seems to refresh and they have to scroll all the way down to see that the page is actually a different page.

I know how to make it so that the modules only appear on certain menu items, but there is no menu item for Polls or Kunena member join page.

What can I do to remove all of these modules from these two pages with no menu item?

    • Ok I will try this. But what I am concerned about is how the Joomla site itself functions.

Here is what I mean... The Poll page and the User sign up page do not appear to have their own menu item, Joomla loads those two pages as if they are the home page. Know what I mean? And the site is jane dot tv. If you click on the poll on the right hand side, you will see what I mean. When you view results every single module at the top shows up on the poll results page and you have to scroll all the way down to see the poll. It is confusing for people.

I have advanced module manager installed on one of my other sites. I love it. I hope it will work in this instance, because it is a weird problem.
