    Adobe Flash problem???

Posted 13 years 7 months ago
    • Hi guys,

Just recently, (and I think this started when Adobe updated their Flash code a few weeks back... my web sites Flash movies now have blurred TEXT.
      http://www.messagingonhold.com.au/

I don't know how to use Flash to create swf files... the way I made these Flash animations was in Keynote on my iMAC.. then exported it as a .swf file. But they have been clear and worked fine for the past 3 years.

Also, when I checked the files by playing the file in FLASH Professional C5 the Text... they are perfect and clear !!!

Anyone know why this text would be now blurred.... even though it's clear when play in CS5 Flash Pro?

    • Hi CYMK. Thanks for the reply.

Yes PC Explorer 9 looks perfect

But I have tested on the following and they are blurred:
Both Mac and PC FF 7.0.1 and
      Mac Safari Version 5.1 (6534.50)

Haven't tried Chrome or the others...

I have attached a screen shot so you can see what I mean.

    • Very weird, now it looks blurred, it didn't before when I checked it.

I can only think that it's the actual flash file itself that is the problem.

BTW > is this "one" flash file or multiple separate files played one after another?

Are you using a random flash module? If so, that may be causing the problem . . . try loading the flash directly into a custom module and try that.

    • No... unfortunately... made no difference...
I created a new j15randomflash and a new path (folder) for the home page... then copied the 'one' .swf file into this folder... and still get the same result.

      :(

Confused... as I haven't done a change to my site in years... weird !@$#

    • No... unfortunately once again.. even not removing the j15randomflash - (which is what I have done on the home page...) has fixed this. :(

    • If you are able to send me the original flash files and swf file, I'll take a quick look and see if I can figure it out. It might be something in the settings you used to export.

You can email them to me directly using chris [a] cmykreative.com if you want.
