    • I installed the modules in Joomla 1.7.0 but not listed in the modules, so it can not be configured. If you go in the Extensions Manager

    • Without sounding silly...
      Have you clicked the NEW button to create a new module and then selected the module you wish to create?

      When you install modules they wont create a new module in your list of modules, it just gives you the option in the 'New' list to select the type of module you just installed.
