Fitting a component inside a module

I have a question because when I publish the slider in a module position there is a little frame between the module and the component. My question is if there is any chance to program the module so the component fill completly the space of the module, without any frame and affecting only this module.
Background on my question: bought a template in rocketheme, the template slider didn`t worked with joomfish, rocketeers can`t find how to solve it, I had to buy a new slider somewhere else...
