Module displayed in category but not in article. Possible?

Hello,
I'm using RokStory module in a sub-menu to present child articles in this same sub-menu/category.
The module is located in showcase-a position (Syndicate template) and is working well in the menu/category list.
When we enter in an child article, the module is still displayed in the showcase-a position with the current article in the mainbody position.
Is it possible to hide the module in article's view but to show this module in the parent's categor/menu ? It's not associate to RokStory module. I have the same problem with other module that I want to hide when viewing an article.
