SOLVED: Issue with arrow bullets and print/email icon

1) Arrows as bullets in articles
I had been testing this locally using xampp and it worked fine. However, I have just uploaded to a test directory on my web site. When using the arrow bullets in an article, there is no space between the bullet and the text. This does not seem to happen when part of a custom HTML module.

2) Print/email icon
I turned off print/email on a particular article and the icons still appear and are now layered on top of each other. This was happening in my local installation as well.

Any ideas on what is going on?
