When I click the style switcher it logs me out

OK I am getting close. I installed everything on a fresh forum install. Installed the styles on the fresh install. It was working great so I backed up the database before I tried to import my users from the old forum. After I imported I logged back in. The style came up fine. All of the users were there and their post. Looked good so I tried to switch the style. It logged me out! Wow it kicked me out of the forum.
So I said no problem I have a back up of the database. so I deleted all the tables in the database. Then restored the backup. It was working when I backed it up. When I went back to the forum and logged in. It was still broke even though all the tables were the ones I backed up that worked. Even deleted the cookies. It must be writing something to a file outside of the database. or something. The restored "working" database is now broken also. :shock:
