Different menu layouts on different pages (Joomla 1.7)

    • On Joomla 1.5 there was a drop down, you change the rockettheme options and it was changed on that menu. In Joomla 1.7 its a little different and not working for me.

I choose assign, I pick the menu item I want it assigned to, I than change the layout of the MainBody Positions. But it changes on all of the pages.

      Thanks,

      Noah

    • In 1.7, in the template manager, click the checkbox next to your default template then click the duplicate button near the top right. Then go into the duplicate, under the assignments tab you can choose which page it's assigned to and make all of your changes in the other tabs. Do this for every different page layout you wish to create. Hope that helps.
