How do you redesign

    • The only thing you can do is to work on a separate install and separate database, get the template setup how you want it whilst still updating content on your live site, and when the template on the development site is ready, copy that over to the live site, but not the database content.

How do I go about copying the template from the Dev site to the live site? Is it just the template folder? Are template settings not stored in the database?

    • So, would I just migrate the files or the database? Or both?

    • With an Akeeba backup, both.

Akeeba backs up the site and the DB all at once for easy migration.
