  • Good Book on Joomla 1.7: Seeking advice

    • Hi,
      I have used Using Joomla by O Reilly when I started. I would like to buy another book to learn more.
      I am considering Joomla! Explained: Your Step-by-Step Guide (Joomla! Press) [Paperback] or
      The Official Joomla! Book (Joomla! Press) [Paperback]. I do not know the difference between them.

      I have created a couple of websites with Rockettheme templates and I am about to create a third one.
      I have an MS in computer science, but I am not an expert in the field.
      I would like to buy something which is accessible to most people.

      I hope Joomla Explained isn't too bad ( I wrote it ).

      The difference is that JE is very much focused on the step-by-step process of building a site. The Official Joomla books takes a much wider view of Joomla in general.
