    The best way to upgrade to 1.7 using an RT template?

    • Hello,

      Upgrading with jupgrade from 1.5 to 1.7 seemed to be easy but trying to get everything my site used to look like was a bit difficult.

      How I did it was I upgraded to 1.7 and then installed the same template for 1.7. Then goes the long process of installing all the extensions and what not.

      That's how i did it.

      But I was wondering if someone had a better way.

    • Unfortunately, that's the only way to do it. All the codes for the templates and extensions have changes to fit the 1.7 format so they have to be re-installed. The only other option is to manually update the codes, which would be a nightmare.
    • The difficult we do immediately, the impossible takes a little longer.
